Co-Creator Alexis Russell said she opened the art gallery to not only highlight local Black artist but to offer a creative space and a way to help alleviate stress. "Art creates that moment of relief. It's an escape. It's a time to be mindful. A time to be appreciative, express gratitude," Russell said.
